Acusera 24.7 New Features – Version 4.0

We are delighted to announce the launch of Acusera 24•7 Version 4.0, introducing a range of laboratory focused enhancements designed to deliver greater speed, usability and analytical insight.

Version 4.0 empowers laboratories to gain more value from their QC data, making it easier to identify QC trends, understand performance differences and uncover opportunities to optimise laboratory workflows, all while reducing the time spent manually reviewing and comparing data.

Feature Spotlight: Capability Score

Capability score is a new analytical performance metric within Acusera 24•7, designed for laboratories running the same assay across multiple analysers, automated workflows and high-volume testing environments.

Capability score automatically converts QC data into a simple, standardised performance metric that supports easier comparison of analyser performance for specific assays by level.

Where previously, lab staff would have to review multiple QC statistics, reports and charts, capability score provides a tool to identify which analyser demonstrates stronger performance for a given assay automatically. Supporting more informed decisions around analyser utilisation, workflow optimisation and test allocation.

The score is calculated automatically within Acusera 24•7.

How Capability Score Supports Your Laboratory

Faster Performance Comparisons

Faster Performance Comparisons

Compare analyser performance for an assay using a single standardised value, helping reduce time spent reviewing multiple QC statistics.

Data-Driven Decisions

Data-Driven Decision Making

Delivers additional insight to aid decisions around analyser utilisation, assay allocation and workflow review activities.

Optimise Multi-Analyser Environments

Optimises Multi-Analyser Environments

Highlights performance differences across analysers running the same assay, supporting more effective use of multiple systems. This also includes laboratory networks, connected through 24•7.

Workflow & Automation Insight

Supports Workflow and Automation Planning

Offers performance insights that may assist laboratories when reviewing workflows, automation strategies and track system design.

Greater Performance Visibility

Greater Visibility of Analyser Performance

Creates a clearer view of analyser capability over time, supporting ongoing performance review and trend monitoring.

Quality & Operational Efficiency

Supports Quality and Operational Efficiency

Provides objective performance information that can support quality activities while helping laboratories maximise value from existing instrumentation.

New Feature: Multi-Analyser Report

A brand-new report designed specifically for laboratories running the same test on multiple analysers.

The new Multi-Analyser Report enables side-by-side comparison of analyser performance for the same assay and level within a single view. Ideal for multi analyser and multi-site laboratories, it provides greater visibility of performance consistency across systems and locations.

Available performance metrics include:

  • Fixed Target Mean
  • Running Mean
  • Fixed SD
  • Running SD
  • SD Ratio
  • Bias%
  • CV%
  • Expanded Measurement Uncertainty (EMU)
  • Capability Score
  • Total Error (TE)

The report also provides combined weighted performance statistics across all analysers running the same assay, delivering an overall view of laboratory performance and supporting broader assay review activities.
